Dr Ramlachan completed her MBChB in 1998 and received a fellowship with the College of Dermatology in October 2005. Now in private practice as a dermatologist at Club Surgical Center and Libertas Office Park. Dr Ramlachan is a leading Dermatology Specialist & South Africa’s first female dermatologist, practising MOHS micrographic surgery.

Mohs surgery is a specialized type of skin cancer removal procedure that involves removing the affected tissue layer by layer, and examining each layer under a microscope until healthy, non-cancerous tissue is reached.
